Are Christians supposed to “let it go” when injustice happens, or are we called to seek justice God’s way?
In this episode of Hustle in Faith, we’re kicking off a brand-new series called Seeking Justice: Faith, Perseverance, and Purpose in Difficult Times, inspired by Isaiah 1:17: “Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow.”
In this first episode, we explore what it really means to seek justice as a Christian. Biblical justice is not about revenge, bitterness, or becoming consumed by what someone did to you. It is about truth, righteousness, accountability, obedience, and trusting God with the outcome. We’ll talk about why justice starts with doing right, why seeking justice requires action, how Jesus modeled courage and truth, and how to recognize the difference between justice and revenge. If you’ve ever been told to stay silent, move on, or stop talking about something that was wrong, this episode will encourage you to seek justice without losing your faith, your integrity, or your peace.
This is the beginning of the Seeking Justice series. In the next episode, we’ll look at women in the Bible who teach us about perseverance, advocacy, and refusing to give up — including the persistent widow and the daughters of Zelophehad. Comment below: What does “seek justice” mean to you as a Christian?
