Why Doing Everything Yourself Is Slowly Burning You Out

If you’re ambitious, driven, and used to carrying everything on your own, this message is for you. In this video, we dive into Exodus chapter 18 and uncover a powerful leadership lesson many high-capacity people miss. Moses was faithful, committed, and willing to serve all day long, yet his leadership style was unsustainable.

Through the wisdom of his father-in-law Jethro, we learn why doing everything yourself doesn’t make you strong…it slowly leads to burnout. This teaching is for leaders, creators, entrepreneurs, and believers who feel overwhelmed, stretched thin, or exhausted from trying to be everything to everyone. In this video, you’ll learn:

Why burnout can hide behind good intentions

Why gatekeeping isn’t real leadership

How blind spots keep us stuck longer than necessary

Why receptivity to correction matters

How obedience requires action, not just agreement

If you’ve ever felt like you can’t step away, can’t delegate, or can’t let go, this message will help you rethink what God actually asked you to carry.

👉🏾 You were never meant to do it all. You were meant to steward what God placed on your plate well. If this message encouraged you:
