YOU'RE SELF BARE

You might feel tired, stressed, or lack the motivation to put yourself first… we know how you feel – we’ve been there before!

That’s why it’s imperative that you need to take time out for yourself. If you’re constantly pouring energy into other people’s lives, you’re not going to have enough left to pour into your own. It’s time to discover how to take the first step in living an extraordinary life.

MIND

Everyone desires to experience peace, but are you willing to fight for it? Oftentimes, we forget that life is full of fights. There are so many things and people attempting to steal our time. The level of peace that you will experience in life is based on how motivated you are to reclaim your time.

It starts with a complete shift in your perspective. Make a decision right NOW to invest in yourself. Once you decide to make this decision, life will start to get REAL interesting! You may experience an increase in adversity. Remember that every obstacle and setback you encounter is a setup for a comeback.

Decide on the activities and people that will bring you peace. Don’t let anyone or anything steal your joy!

BODY

When you decide to change your mind, your desire to change your outside will follow suit. Make time daily to unplug so you can exercise to become more well-rounded.

If you’re not used to exercising, then start by slowly by going for a walk. Find a new way to move your body by going for a walk. Take it slow so you can build up your stamina. Add 1-2 more servings of fruit or vegetables to your diet.

Start small. Remember, you’re worth the effort!

 

SOUL

Are you getting enough rest? With all of the chaos going on in the world right now, the answer to this question is most likely, “No.”  Although I understand the reason why, nonetheless, this is an issue. Rest plays an essential role in our lives. A lack of rest creates havoc in our bodies that lead to diseases and other problems. Satan attacks us when we are weary and tired (Lk 4: 1-13).

It is during this period of time when Satan inflicts us with his negative traits such as anger, fear, frustration, depression, etc. What many fail to realize is that our mental health issues stem from a lack of spiritual as well as physical rest.

Whenever you feel like life’s negative circumstances are starting to gang up on you, take time out to pray, meditate, and go to sleep. Will your problems magically disappear? Most likely no. However, the combination of prayer and sleep will renew your spirit in such a way that positions you to see life from a new perspective as well as offer you a solution to your problems. 

Make “me” time essential so you can start creating your own opportunity to live an extraordinary life.
